People ask me all the time if they should use PLR (Private Label Rights) in their Kindle Ebooks. Not only that, but some “people” even sell courses that teach people to repackage PLR (crap) as an ebook and then put it up for sale on Amazon.
If you fell for that, I am sorry to say that you got scammed. Hopefully that is the worst thing that happened because there are some people who had their author accounts banned by Amazon for doing this.
Amazon has cleaned up much of the PLR crap that was in the Kindle store (Great job Amazon, thank you!!!) and when I search customer reviews for “PLR” type books, I can see that many of those so called books were deleted.
I will be doing another post on what you need to do in order to be successful on the Kindle but in a nutshell:
- Write GREAT Content
- Format It Properly And Perfectly For All Kindle Devices And Kindle Apps
- Market Yourself (And Your Books)

Howdy! This is kind of off topic but I need some
advice from an established blog. Is it very hard to set up your own blog?
I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about making
my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks
Libby,
It’s very quick and easy to create your own blog, especially when using WordPress. Let me know if you have any specific questions and I’d be happy to help.
