How To Put Drop Cap Letters In Your Kindle Ebook

Kindle Template In the video below, I show you how to put drop capital letters (drop caps) in your Kindle Ebooks.

Many people do this wrong and there is only one way to make it work when using Microsoft Word. If you do it wrong, you will still see a drop cap letter in Word but it won’t show up on the Kindle. Using my method shown below, you will get perfect looking drop caps that look great on the Kindle and Kindle Apps! It’s very quick and easy.

    Hi
When you highlight the first letter and increase it in size, it also increases the leading underneath the first line, so it’s noticeably wider than the other lines. Do you know how to fix that?

      Archie,
That is the only way to get drop caps on the Kindle and unfortunately, there is no way to prevent the line from getting wider so it’s a bit of a trade-off.
