Adding Text To Images For Kindle Ebook Covers

Adding text to images Recently, I have had a few people ask me how they can add text to images or existing Kindle Ebook covers so I thought I would do a quick video showing you how quick and easy it is to do. Before the video, I want to make it clear that this is definitely not a tutorial on how to create a Kindle Ebook cover, (I’ll save that for later) this video is to show you how to simply add text to an existing image and/or Ebook cover.

In the video, I am using Photoshop Elements 9 but the method is exactly the same whether you are using Photoshop Elements 7,8,9, or 10 on either the PC or Mac.

Let me know if you have any questions or video requests!

Thanks Paul. That is certainly straight forward, and answers my questions. One thing I did learn the hard way is that you have to remember that the covers are going to be b/w in the older Kindles. I had a perfectly good cover and in color the font displayed well. However, when the image was displayed on the Kindle site the font nearly disappeared.
    Thanks again
